Here is an article that was reproduced on a regional Greek web site. It's about a group of villages and their contribution to the Greek War of Independence. It doesn't translate well, so it's better for those who read Greek. It's good to learn about the actual people who fought for their freedom. Kolokotronis and his son Panos fought there.
